Artist Statement
This new series is a collaboration between Lynn and Leszek Wyczolkowski. The landscapes pieces are a marriage of Leszek’s simple compositions and Lynn’s free flowing style. The combination results in works that settle between realism and abstract, highlighted by a veil of diffused light.
Biography
Leszek Wyczolkowski was born into a family of artists in Zielonka near Warsaw – Poland in 1950. His great-grand uncle, Leon Wyczolkowski (1852-1936), was a noted Polish painter and graphic artist, associated with Young Poland (Mloda Polska) – an important artistic movement at the turn of 19th and 20th century.
