CELEBRATING CHILDREN’S BOOK ILLUSTRATION

January 11th to 27th, 2007

SUPPORTING CHILDREN’S LITERACY

Bellevue Gallery recognizes all forms of Fine Art, including that found in children’s literature.  In an effort to promote the development of children’s literacy the Gallery represents the original art of illustration.  The visual link provided in picture book illustration works to stimulate and enhance the written word and invites the viewer to expand the creative experience found in children’s books.

Original work by children’s book illustrators celebrate the diversity found in picture books.  The Gallery welcomes children’s groups or school groups by appointment and arrangements can be made by contacting Bellevue Gallery.

Bellevue Gallery supports Literacy and the Vancouver Children’s Literature Roundtable.
