”Being, Text and Time” features a series of large 5′ x 5′ panels by Erica Grimm-Vance.  Exploring the materiality of the work as well as the figurative, Erica incorporates steel, PET scans, MRI scans, text, graphite and encaustic in her work.  ”I’m interested in the body,” she says.  ”More than the sexual body, my focus is about the body in its brokenness and the existence of suffering in the world.”
