Emma Milley was born in Sussex, England and immigrated to Canada in 2002.

She experienced Indian culture at the young age of fourteen when she travelled to Northern India with her father. Those early experiences left a lasting impression and influenced the view Emma would adopt through her camera lens in years to come.  After completing a nursing degree, Emma and her husand, Tyler returned to India in 2006 and again in 2008. They devoted six months to living and teaching at Joybells orphanage.  The love Emma first knew for the children, the country, and the culture ignited her passion to capture the Colours of India in her photography.  With a desire to give voice to those without one, Emma began the non-profit organization “Just Go” in the hope of sending volunteer workers to help in the Joybells orphanage.  Through her photography, Emma captures the heart of India and it’s people. Her passion expanded when Emma travelled to other areas of the world where she and her husband eventually adopted their first son, Moses in Swaziland, Africa.

Emma is currently a part time student in the Certificate Program at Focal Point Photography School in Vancouver.
